Geoff Emmerick- Recording Engineer- May 2006

Geoff Emerick is a recording studio audio engineer, who is best known for his work with the Beatles albums Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The White Album and Abbey Road. The first album he did with The Beatles as sound engineer was Revolver. The first song he engineer with them was "Tomorrow Never Knows"!

So far Geoff has been awarded four Grammys for his
amazing talent.

Geoff, like Beatles producer George Martin, brought an adventurous and experimental attitude to his work. His post-Beatles career included work with Paul McCartney including Band On The Run), Elvis Costello, Art Garfunkel, America, Cheap Trick, Mahavishnu Orchestra, and Jeff Beck, as
well as Nellie McKay's critically acclaimed 2004 debut CD."

In 2006, Geoff released his memoir, entitled "Here, There, and Everywhere" (Gotham Books), which is what Mark interviewed Geoff about.
